Find Your Board CE Requirements & Accreditations

If you're like most counseling professionals, getting your yearly CE credits in time has you stressed out, rushing, and spending more time (and money) than you care to admit. Say goodbye to expensive seminars, boring CEs, and the yearly hassle of finding quality courses.

DID YOU KNOW? 70% of adults in the U.S. have experienced some type of traumatic event at least once in their lives. That’s approximately 223.4 million people! And of these over 200 million Americans, up to 20% of them will develop PTSD.

“Trauma is a widespread, harmful, and costly public health problem. It occurs as a result of violence, abuse, neglect, loss, disaster, war, and other emotionally harmful experiences. Trauma has no boundaries with regard to age, gender, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, geography, or sexual orientation. It is an almost universal experience of people receiving treatment for mental and substance use disorders. The need to address trauma is increasingly viewed as an important component of effective behavioral health service delivery.” - PTSD Statistics

And because we now have a better understanding of the prevalence and impact of trauma, we offer you one of the best and most thorough selections of trauma-informed CE courses on the internet.

You’ll choose from a wide array of relevant, engaging courses to complete your continuing education (CE) requirements:

“I have been working as a trauma-informed clinician for over 25 years, treating some of the most difficult patient populations, including clients living with chronic pain, those who have been in and out of therapy, hospitals, and institutions their whole lives, and those who have hit absolute rock bottom. While I can’t claim a 100% success rate, I have seen people increase their ability to function, return to work and school, enjoy healthy relationships, and essentially have a life again! Trauma-informed care works and that’s why I believe in it.”

— Beth Harp, LPC-S, NCC

Trauma-informed care shifts the focus from, "what's wrong with you?" to "what happened to you?". Why is this important? You see, unresolved trauma can manifest in many ways, including anxiety disorders, panic attacks, intrusive memories (flashbacks), obsessive-compulsive behaviors, post-traumatic stress disorder, addictions, self-injury and a variety of physical symptoms. This means that trauma is a costly public health problem. Trauma can result from any situation or event that causes physical and/or emotional harm — whether it’s abuse, violence, war, disaster, or growing up with a parent with addiction or mental illness.

Does it matter where I get my trauma training?

Yes! The new standard of care calls for “evidence-based” approaches — and for good reason! Evidence-based treatment (EBT) is backed by scientific evidence from extensive studies and research that show it has been successful. The goal of EBT is to encourage the use of safe and effective treatments. And trauma-informed care is grounded in evidence-based treatment principles. That’s why our courses focus on teaching you evidence-based practices.

We’re committed to providing you with a fast, simple and affordable way to meet your CE requirements while growing your skills in trauma-informed care. The reason why this is important is because there simply are not enough trauma therapists in the world!

We believe in the importance of equipping and empowering counseling professionals with professional training in trauma-informed care. That’s why we use books written by renowned trauma researchers and experts for each course — so you get to read all the books on your reading list, and get CE credits!
