Wisconsin licensees must renew every two years.  License renewals are due by February 28 of odd numbered years.  Wis. Stat. § 440.08(2)
Continuing education requirements do not need to be completed during a licensee first year.   MPSW 19.02(3)
Social Worker
30 hours of continuing education credit hours must be completed every two years. MPSW 19.02(1)A minimum of four hours of continuing education credit hours must be related to the area of professional ethics and boundaries.  The ethics and boundaries continuing education requirement must be completed in an interactive learning format and competed every two years.  MPSW 19.02(2)(a-b)
Advanced Practice Social Worker
30 hours of continuing education credit hours must be completed every two years. MPSW 19.02(1)

Independent Social Worker
